Hello! We are Beatriz, Aileen, Yanina, Genia, Anne, Sophie and Kendra all contemporary artists from different parts of the world.

We created Space For ART in 2019 around a shared passion for culture and a mutual desire to grow a vibrant art collective in Sant Pere de Ribes (Barcelona).

Our mission

Since creativity sparks innovation, problem-solving, and personal joy, our mission is to uplift and support those who wish to embrace their creative side.
Our purpose is to inspire our community and make art more accessible to the people of Sant Pere de Ribes through our exhibitions and activities.

We host art related events, talks, workshops and exhibitions.

Thank you thank you thank you for today. For bringing such intimacy into a shared space. For opening up the circle. For allowing all emotions. For validating who we are. For being seen. For being heard. For letting me/us feel I’m/we’re not alone. For being held. For acknowledging this is a collective battle/process we all go through in our own ways. Thank you Yanina, Aileen, Sophie, Bea, Genia and Anne. For creating this space and building a so needed community.
And thank you Helen for guiding us through this beautifully, raw experience Today was the first time in over a decade I shared something so personal in a group setting with people I don’t know. It was very powerful. And so needed. What an amazing space and community you are creating!

Hola chicas del space for art! Gracias por el Día de hoy... Ha sido espectacular poder disfrutar de vuestros mundos interiores y de vuestro arte, tan tan profundo y emocionante!
Me gusto mucho de verdad, hubiese podido bailar y reintrepertar cada una 😁🥰 ers lo que el cuerpo me pedía jajajjajaja
También me vinieron muchas emociones diferentes:

Yanina, la tristeza muy profunda, el añoro, el recuerdo... Me puse a llorar... Yo también perdí a mi padre muy joven... Muy bonito estéticamente, delicado 🔅
Genia, el apoyo, el sostén, la madre cálida, los hombros que te sostienen. Lo profundo, te haces preguntas. Muy limpio y austero, siempre me recuerda "la casa de Bernarda Alba" De Lorca.
Aileen, una capa más. Profunda de sub consiente, más abajo, más adentro... Ir a un lugar de otra dimensión, muy interesante.
Bea, muy irónico, trágico y comedia a la vez, la tragicomedia de las madres... Estéticamente precioso! Visual
Sophie, entrar en el juego, las sombras, las texturas, un espacio de calma que invitaba a sentarse y descansar... Era el bosque tal cual... Mucha paz y calma.
Anne: maravilloso.. Sutil, delicado, las niñas, la música muy bonito y poético.

Salí encantada!
