Through playful techniques and mindful exploration, we’ll gently step beyond comfort zones, ignite curiosity, and rediscover the joy of creation—not for the outcome, but for the magic of the process itself.

- Exploring Voice & Intuition Guided exercises to listen to your inner voice. Activation exercises to awaken creativity and intuition.
- Wild Dark Room Experiment out in nature. Play with light, shadows, and organic materials to create unique prints.
- Self-Portrait & Cyanotype. Explore self-representation through cyanotype printing.
- Group Self-Portraiture in Nature Using a special pinhole camera to capture collective self-portraits in nature. Wrap up the retreat with a closing circle to share insights and reflections.

Sophie LascellesVisual artist and creativity coach
Sophie Lascelles is passionate about helping women to rekindle their creativity and has been teaching for many years. She is an accredited NLP coach and uses her experience to help women to reconnect with their hands which she believes is the key to regenerating your creative self and uses a wide range of materials and artistic processes to spark a sense of purpose and joy.
Sophie is a visual artist whose work explores analogue photography. Her recent work has been focused on sustainable photography processes such as cyanotype, anthotype and plant-based film developers. Since completing her master’s degree 2007 at Slade School of Art in London she has exhibited internationally and won several awards. -
Genia VallaVisual artist and therapeutic photographer
Over the past 10 years, Genia Valla has developed a unique approach that brings together self-portraiture, voice, and therapeutic practice.
Using her own body and voice as a field of exploration, her work investigates emotional processes, identity, and the way we relate to ourselves through image and expression.
Alongside her artistic practice, she guides individuals and groups through processes of self-discovery, using photography and voice as tools to reconnect with the body, the emotions, and a more authentic sense of self.
Her work invites a shift: from performing or controlling the image, to inhabiting it. From shaping the voice, to listening to what it reveals.
