About the Workshop
The invited artist Sofia Aristova brings to Space for Art a unique opportunity to learn about creative embroidery. We will create abstract embroidery pieces of work on our own clothes. Sofia will guide us in this step by step, giving us different techniques in order to achieve some specific effect, each work will be unique.
IMPORTANT: For the workshop, you should bring a piece of clothing (old jacket, sweatshirt, shirt, etc) Make sure the material is strong enough. It´s good to go for jeans, linen, cotton (non-stretching) fabric.
